Symmetry is the key to professional grill work.

Tomorrow marks the dawn of a new era for Wyoming football and the start of another year of tailgating excellence.

On the menu front for Week 1, our friends at the Cheyenne Steak and Sausage Company are sponsoring and hosting the kick-offtailgate.  They will be providing brats and all the fixings, as well as a horse trough full of Pepsi products for the kids.  That means we are all off the hook for bringing any homemade foodstuffs this week, so make sure to tell them thanks and stop by their place near the corner of Ridge Rd. and Pershing in Cheyenne.  For us adult types please feel free to bring a sack full of your favorite malted or distilled beverages.

As always, and as tradition mandates, Dirt Lot Burgers will be ready at halftime.

The location of the tailgate is the same as last year, despite all of the sky box construction going on.  We are in the Stadium Lot, roughly near the front and center of the stadium. If in doubt, walk toward the large grouping of tents with loud hollering noises coming from within.  You won’t go wrong.  For a handy printable map of the tailgate location, just click here.

Finally, we’ve had some questions as to what’s up for Texas next week.  We will have more details tomorrow, but for now let me just say that a steer was slaughtered at 8:15 this morning in preparation for next week’s tailgate.

Football, Dirt Lot, Beer, Joy.
